Prive Cafe @ Keppel Bay

Clearing my backlog of foodie posts. heh.
Went to prive cafe last christmas for brunch. it wasn't my first time there - i previously went in the afternoon for their tea offerings. Heard pretty good reviews about the breakfast menu so decided to give it a try :)

Prive is located at Keppel bay. I would advise driving there, as you will need to take about a 20 mins walk to get there from harbourfront (and yes, i walked there on both occasions :( ) Its a really lovely place, with a scenic view.

It was SUPER crowded when we reached, and we weren't smart enough to make a reservation. Hence, we were ushered to the very back end of the cafe... which wasn't a very pleasant area. the tables were not clean, there was no fan or any cooling mechanism and the natural wind wouldn't blow till there

Only good thing was that the staff were still pretty attentive although we were far away from the main dining area.

Photos!

Espresso. came with a yummy cookie which i gobbled down straight away.

Wore my galaxy skirt from taobao

ANDDD as usual, we ordered the same stuff. Eggs benedict for him and I decided to try Eggs royale. I think i should do a comparison post on all the eggs benedict that i've eaten ;p

SO GOOD.

Eggs benedict came with a super thick slice of ham. YUM

My Eggs royale!

Generous serving of smoked salmon!!

AND I would give their hollandaise sauce 5/5. TOO GOOD. the best I've ever had. and it feels sooo sinful. eggs were perfectly poached as well!! Pretty surprised that the quality was still quite high although it was a crowded morning.

Awesome brunch place to go if I have extra cash ;)
