Velvet Nails

I might be slow on this trend, but just half an hour ago i came across the most amazing thing ever.

VELVET NAILS!!

Aren't they gorgeous!!

Apparently it comes in the form of powder (?) So all you have to do is to dust it on after applying a layer of nail polish.

Being a sucker for velvet this is good news to me!

You can be sure that i'll definitely be getting some hee. But searching for a seller in the meantime. If anyone is interested in getting it too, contact me and we can pool together our orders ;)

Last holiday update - DIY and more

Sigh my long summer break is going to be over in 3 days.

Basically just chilled and had fun this summer. Travelled to taiwan, thailand and europe, dyed my hair turquoise  danced, etc. 

Received my la riche lilac hair dye from mianbao! my next colour after turquoise for dip dyeing. 

A DIY laptop case for my new toshiba baby which i zhnged myself. it was originally a free zalora laptop case .

Simply cut out a heart shaped applique from random fabric and fixed it on with the studs i got from taobao :)

Leopard print nails that were done by Charmaine :) it was so awesome a whole bunch of us girls AND guys painting nails in the convoc holding room haha dam funny. Charmy's bf got her a whole set of nail brushes and dotting tools :) super sweet! and she is really really good at nail art i would so go to her for manicures if she became a manicurist!!

Le Princesse Gelish Manicure!

So yesterday I went to this little nail parlour in prinsep street to do my nails.

The parlour's called Le Princesse, a quiet little place. The manicurist was pretty friendly and meticulous too!

Anyway it was my first time doing gelish (woes of a poor student) and apparently she had to buff the nail slightly or else the gelish won't stick.

And I love it! its so glossy and shiny. I can never achieve this with my normal nail polishes. It'll just start to chip within a day =.=

 Barbie Pink. It didn't look so pinkish from the bottle!

Applied a topcoat of China Glaze White Cap over it since the manicurist said I can remove it and the gloss will still be there heh! 

Okay back to studying.

a nude polish and 2 glittery ones from OPI's Holland Collection - I have a Herring problem and Gouda Gouda two shoes. such cute names!

Always have this urge to paint nails once i wake up in the morning. 

 Tickle my france-y and china glaze material girl. absolutely in love in with this nude polish it gives off a very classy and professional vibe. 

and I need to stop buying more polishes because this is my current stash -.- and I havent tried all yet! so yes must stop buying and save $$!!!!!!

I'm back!
The past two weeks felt so long, and chiangmai is realy cold :(
Can't post much about the homestay and programmes yet cause my photos are all with sophie. The kids are reallyyy cuteeee. Oh well.

Anyway quite surprised to find out that shopping in Chiang Mai was dam good. Look at my haul!

 I bought like 2 knitted cardis, 3 tanks, 3 maxi skirts, 1 pink sweatpants (FOR LESS THAN $3 OMG MINDBLOWN), denim shorts, tees, 1 romper and all for less than $100 in total! Zai or what. 

I think if I go to bangkok next time sure GGfied.

on the 2nd last night Toffy brought a few of us to do manicures, FREAKING cheap omg and dam good.

less than $14 for my nails! shouldn't have chose this design though, looks so bimb! but i'm not complaining for the price teehee. 

My schedule for the next 2 months until SDD auds in end Feb are totally filled already omg. I just pray I can maintain my GPA while juggling dance and studies :(

anyway while I was busy chionging, my new polishes arrived :DD was influenced by verena, she bought one from the scape sale and it was so prettaye I just had to buy and more pretty colours emerged.

I am addicted to buying nail polish lately. Argh.

Passion french tip with OPI It's a Girl. Failed ARGHH so difficult to paint.

Oh well. my right hand fingers are even more horrible cause I can't paint with my left hand.omg hate.

I'm still gonna be busy for the remaining ten days left cause of hangover and ocsp preparations. hmm.
