As these are handmade, no two designs will be the exactly the same, so it may or may not be one of the designs below! but I'll be making galaxy print ones ;)

DIY Galaxy and woven bracelets

Haven't been working on DIY bracelets in a loongggg time. When i was younger i used to buy tons of beads but in the end i never really made anything complete haha.

Wanted to make a few for my girlfriends for christmas but I was lacking an important component :( so I just went to Chinatown to find it ytd. Was sad to find out that my favourite bead shop closed :( had a hard time finding chains now. blahh.

Simple woven chain bracelets:

Saw these around on the net and when i actually got to doing it... omg it was really tedious!! but i found a trick heh so the more i do the better i get at it.

Anddd galaxy/aztec bracelets:

Steph said i should sell these. But i'm still not entirely satisfied with them! cos i couldn't find the right connector :( guess i have to import from overseas soon! anyway i guess people will soon steal the design and mass-manufacture. oh well.

Made of vintage brass and cowhide leather cord, handmade from scratch! yes i did the centerpiece on my own too. all the prints were handpicked haha i went to alot of trouble to search for them!

Summer DIY Ideas

I was writing out my summer schedule, and I realised I'm gonna spend about 1 month in total overseas, and another 2 weeks in freshmen camps. Gonna be faci for Bondue camp and Arts camp! woo. The SMU trick is to be completely shameless and thick-skinned. Or rather, its a requirement haha.

As for the remaining scattered weeks here and there, I've decided I'm gonna pick up my crafty scissors once again. Recently there has been a whole lot of crafty fashion ideas lying around on the internet, and I'm gonna attempt some of them muahaha check out my hidden talent.

1. Detachable collars

Blogshops selling all these collars for close to $20 and I'm like SCAMMERS. its just a piece of cloth. Hence I shall make my own. They're so cute, but I highly doubt I'll every wear them out.

2. Tie Dye

Tie-dye is such a complicated process. but I really love the effects, like those above. 

3. Knot Fringe 

SIMPLE. I like. and gives off the tribal/bohemian feel that is currently in fashion now.

4. Cut out

Cut out designs are IN! and I figured if the cut out designs are simple enough (like triangles) I should just do it on my own.

I have loads of unwanted clothing lying around just nice for experimentation haha!

RECESS WEEK IS HERE!

first day of recess week!! I have decided that I am not going to do any work today. So there. aw ltb biz law stats can wait~

Car wash yesterday was alright, but damm ecp is so freaking far away :( had the cheap $1.20 icecream after the whole event and it never tasted so good before HAHA.

 

Yummy baked rice for dinner yesterday :D just nice after a long day of car washing and travellingg.

So despite banning school work today, I didnt slack off my morning alright I packed my room and made a new housing for my beloved instax!

haha what a retarded pouch. anyway so I rummaged through all the spare fabrics lying around and sewed this!:

 

at first i wanted to make it a reversible pouch, but then it was too much work and detail hah so being lazy I just decided to make a normal one.
