2012 to 2013

2012 was a year that started off badly but ended on a good note :)

Snippets of the year:

1. Had a realllyyyyy bad Y1 Sem 2. haha.
2. Kraftfunk got into finals for SDD! :)  omg it happened so long ago it feels like it was in 2011 or smth
3. Back to back performances! Artisan, SDD, Convoc, orientation, SUAD, O school recital!
4. 1st Runner-up for WAR with yanling :)) but since then i've lost the feel again. ugh. searching searching it back.
5. TRAVEL TRAVEL TRAVEL! Had awesome trips to taiwan, krabi, eastern europe, batam etc. Am thankful for the opportunities to set feet in these countries :)
6. Arts camp and bondue camp! first and last time being a faci haha its tiring work okay!!!
7. Dyed my hair crazy colours. was turquoise and it faded to algae green. and now its burgundy.
8. Joined SMU Funk Movement by random chance after meeting the rest at tri-uni funk battle! absolutely loving the passionate and growing young dancers over here :)
9. Y2 Sem 1 was a tough tough sem, but thankful for my good project groups, we pulled through it!! also had wonderful friends who helped me in catching up with the syllabus, sending me practice qns etc. Shoutouts to flo, jared, gene, chris & especially cass (we had 3 mods together!! haha) for all their help :) Thanks guys :)

10. Team Mormation

Honestly the best thing that happend to me this year. Getting into anan's recital item (finally!!!!!) and meeting the awesome dancers in it. Its an experience that i would never never ever trade it for something else. Its really amazing how we can still click and joke around so well when all of us are from different occupations, different ages etc. Really enjoyed every second of their company. Havent felt like this after I left MAD. Super treasure our special friendships and hope we continue to meet up for random meals etc! :)

In 2012, I became distant from people, got closer to others, but life moves on! Also a year whereby I am glad that i've chosen to stay in Singapore, because i can be close to my loved ones.

Not gonna set resolutions for 2013 since I wont follow them anyway haha. but some personal reminders for the start of the year:

1. Get my health problems checked. too many problems have surfaced during 2012, I just hope 2013 will be a healthy year.
2. Save more money for exchange. Looking forward to going on exchange in the 2nd half of the year, really hope my application to korea will be successful!

Hope 2013 will be kind :)

recess week

Recess week is here, but not looking forward to it at all... project meetings almost everyday. sigh. and so many stuff to catch up on.

This sem has been so bad... Im just hoping to get a 3.0 at least now. Group projects were never so bad last sem. Its these times that makes me wanna quit school so much. and I have to reassure myself that having a sucky gpa isnt the end of the world, cos everyone thinks it is.
9 more weeks of torture. I'll survive.

On a brighter note, Kraftfunk is in for SDD finals! :D despite the many screwups we had onstage. But so glad our many tough trainings and sewing paid off~~Really wanted to cry when they announced our name omg but eyes were too dry and I was too stoned.


I'm still so tired. obviously I havent paid off my sleep debt. haha...

whoa so the first week of 2012 is almost over!

Past few days have been a blur with kraftfunk sessions and outings with friends. Its been so long since I did basics training omg the feeling of being fitter is just ~~

But I keep going out recently to eat/shop omg spent so much within the first week of 2012!

I keep going to Breko recently o.o went last week too. Oh well but the food was good! Had ribeye steak with 2 sides for less than $20. 

And we kept taking photos and edited them with the most awesome photo editing app, 美图秀秀!

And because we were still hungry after the meal, we headed to Cold Rock!

We made a pact beforehand to have a "Wear Maxi Day" so we all turned up in maxis haha! I look so tall. whee.

2011

its the last day of 2011! how time flies as usual. so now its the annual time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the next!

MY 2011:

1. A year of yellow. I just have to mention my fate with yellow this year, ftb, bondue, and now emix photoshoot all these random events threw me into the yellow group. like what??
2. Waack. starting off as a noob in bryan's waackin course, I totally waacked the whole year away. Am grateful for the numerous opportunities given - Suntec, Oschool recital, and now emix concert and SDD next feb. Not to mention all the awesome friends I've made thru waackin! 
3. Trying out new things out of my comfort zone: entering SMU and going for OCSP. Still not very much warmed up in the smu environment, but I still have 7 sems to do so. and funny how ocsp is more tough for me than OEs, when it should be the opposite for most people. 

Eager to find out what 2012 has in store for me, but not too anxious to hit 20 -.- 

december!!

woah its december already. the year zoomed past!!

so the past few days I have been attending meetings and watching dramas. watching secret garden and ouran high school now!! I swear one of the ouran characters look like janan. secret garden is okay, still have 16 more eps to go but I'm kinda bored already.

Anyway on wednesday siau and me went shopping at bugis before campfire.

 BARIO RAMEN woohoo ordered half ramen this time and still dam full D:

Wa my hair was longer previously. but now its dam short T.T what happened was that while we were shopping, these people from toni&guy academy approached us to cut hair for free so well who can resist a free hair cut so yea I cut my hair! and they gave us cards for complimentary hair cuts for the next 3 appointments. So people, if you want a free hair cut, hang around bugis.

Went back to salt for campfire, but it was too boring. I guess that's what happens when you don't really know any of the grand juniors haha ohwell so sica siau and I left for KAP!

Teehee went back to HC to crash the grandjuniors' prac with ja. yes i really feel dam old. saw the a levels kids poor things but tbh i rather take their papers for them than do smu's hideous meaningless projects etc. -.-

anyway ANAN IS FINALLY BACKK awesome she's too high level already. all the moves she taught like nobody can get it LOL. the good thing about sch pracs is that she'll go around correcting our mistakes yeah! open class no time only teach choreo T.T
feels good to be dancing to hiphop music haha~ during revision week nonetheless.

Finally managed to book the air ticket this morning, screw budget airlines, seriously. -.- Ugh if only I were rich.

ah tomorrow I shall try to be a full time mugger... then waacking again. roars 2 more weeks hwaiting!!

Yay lessons officially over. cept for biz law on saturday but thats alright.
and thankfully after 8 hours of sleep, I've recovered from my horrible headache yesterday roar.
But now that lessons have ended, it feels kinda weird cause I won't be seeing my classmates esp AW ones until next year. oh and sidetrack - joe's going back to korea for 1 month so lucky!!!. Okay and joanne's going there for holiday too bleh i also wanna go there, esp after watching WGM muahaha. why am I going thailand where all the floods are??? Seriously if I don't get to go Bangkok I'll be so dam pissed off!!

Ahhh today shall be spent watching my favourite Khuntoria couple as usual. 22 episodes down already!!!

Tomorrow's another crazy day with tuition then blaw class then rehearsals. Omg my arms are still aching from Tuesday's practice.

omg suddenly my email is spammed with ocsp, project emails etc and all the deadlines are these 3 days especially i feel like i can suffocate and die.

no no no think positively i can survive this!! :/

RECESS WEEK IS HERE!

first day of recess week!! I have decided that I am not going to do any work today. So there. aw ltb biz law stats can wait~

Car wash yesterday was alright, but damm ecp is so freaking far away :( had the cheap $1.20 icecream after the whole event and it never tasted so good before HAHA.

 

Yummy baked rice for dinner yesterday :D just nice after a long day of car washing and travellingg.

So despite banning school work today, I didnt slack off my morning alright I packed my room and made a new housing for my beloved instax!

saturday is over again

I am so dead tired!! Tuition marathon and dance marathon today. my feet is dying. anyway watching all the recital items' vetting today made me miss hiphop even more. :( esp anan's style. anan come back soon plss.

but yay i am done of all my jc tuitions! can throw all those chem/math knowledge out of the window already. 

Went to airport to send qw off yesterday!

 roar i keep going to the east recently, gotta go ecp tomorrow again for car washing -.-

anyway dislikes T3! all the farewell moments were there. sent off yoko and company there a few years back too omg that was the saddest farewell everr. then ytd was so sad too!! all my awesome friends are overseas roar jingjing xiuhui yiran qianwen jia le.  and others are together in the ulu islands of ntu and nus, here i am left in smu :(( oh well it was my choice cant complain. 

omg this is too cute I JUST GOT TO HAVE IT I AM GONNA GET IT AT ALL COSTS.

So I am almost done for the week, but I still have LTB project interview tomorrow and ocsp car wash on sunday and a whole jam packed day on saturday hence I can't really take any break yet.

 but anyway today was thursdays with pinghui again! because we wanted to get free koi given out by bondue, we abandoned our plan to go back hc for zhajiang mian and instead went to sunshine for thai food. Phad thai again! im gna be so sick of it during december.
Anyway in the end we didnt manage to get the koi, had to share 1 btw us because they ran out of it so fast! roarr i thought it would be unlimited hahaha or at least 100 right?? business school has so many people.

End of another week, but no tgif cause i don't have weekends to chill off.

Today's a non-school day but i still had to go back since morning for ltb meeting for quite a few hours. Hate how project meetings in SMU are so unproductive, mainly cos its an unfamiliar topic and the rubrics/guidelines are so vague or non-existent we don't even know what is expected of us. Seriously.

Well at least eye meetings were beneficial, went for forex followed by ARM and I learnt so many new things! This should be how school is like, learning something useful and interesting. roar. Wanna start trading soon but no time no discipline :(

My weekends are non-existent la. tuitions and cca and dance. where got time to study :/

and Hell starts from next week. schoolwork, beloved friends leaving... sigh.
