Sh managed to get his good friend to help me buy my favourite cuticle balm! (which I was so greatly deprived of for the past few months after my 1st tub finished)

I think I will take ages to finish. my previous one took 3 years haha without consistent application of course. I reckon 1 can last for about 1 year with daily usage?

January is almost over

School work is starting to pick up. one word: BUSY.

submitted exchange apps, submitted a few internship apps, but none of the firms got back to me so far :( I wonder why.

my mpw prof is awfully nice. all profs should teach like him. i'm really interested in OB but sadly the other courses in OB major ain't interesting :(

Some stuff that I bought recently: Rilakkuma pullover (this was from sh :) ), polaroid stickers, a minty peplum blouse frm bugis. Really loving the polaroid stickers, they totally eliminate the need for patterned films!

sigh need to curb my spending though!

WAR III

Emix had the annual internal dance battle, WAR, ytd. First hip hop battle for me, and after a long hiatus from freestyling hiphop (ever since i left MAD o.o).

After dance night last year, I focused my all on waacking together with Kraftfunk. one competition after another, one production after another. After so many choreos, I lost the drive to freestyle, even for waacking. Somehow I felt that I had become worse than my waacking course days. and hiphop was neglected entirely haha opps. only after SDD did i start to go for emix trng, fredy trng, sharing sessions...

Anyway I am really thankful to have an equally chill partner, yanling, who understands my busy schedule and is willing to slack with me HAHA. Really, its amazing how our names got chosen randomly to be partners, out of all the other possible partners I could have gotten. But we were dam lazy, and only met up like once to learn tags then revised the tags before the battle itself... in the end all our tags quite shaky LOL. I got this phobia for tags. Having practiced so little we didn't even expect to get into top 8. but somehow we managed to enter finals mostly by luck. 

The feeling i had while battling was entirely different from when we had freestyle sessions back in HC. perhaps it was because we weren't expecting any results and made a decision to just have fun (I was completely fooling around before the comp until yanling also gave up on me LOL), but I truly felt what it was like to dance from the heart, to the music, without planning any spectacular moves. simply, heeding ed's advice, just feeling the music. sidetrack: edward is really dam awesome, I was watching his battle and my mouth is like always open one. so dope!!! i'm gonna bug him to teach me more stuff. he and nik have the same feel as thew! :O

Anw anan was one of the judges. I really missed learning from her T.T once my shifu forever my shifu. I can't quite find an adjective to describe how i was feeling when anan said I had improved from JC days. what ran through my mind was OMG anan can recognise me and she finally knows my name after 3 years!!!! like seriously, ytd was the first time she called me by the name ever since the day i joined mad. the feeling is somewhat like how a mother feels when her baby says their first "mummy" or smth. LOL not exaggerating really. she knows sarah jessica matthew jiale cherie etc everyone else but me and I'm sure she'll forget my name soon but its okay. I'm really happy about this seemingly small thing though. and its so encouraging when your mentors and seniors tell you that they're proud of you :') its really a great deal of motivation for someone like me. okay gotta work harder and continue improving!

terrible week

the past week was bad!
fell very sick suddenly on thursday during FA class, and i was supposed to give a presentation during twc on that very afternoon omg! we had been preparing for it for so long and even did the final touches in the morning and i just had to fall sick. seriously last warning to my body. really grateful to pinghui kenneth lijun for taking care of me and stuff. caused them so much inconvenience esp my TWC groupies :((

have been prepping for SDD alot recently, school work totally lagging omg and i have like tons of work to be done the next 2 weeks. LQR FOCUS!!

really can't wait till recess week, time to take a breather and play.

hectic

when i'm stressed, i will spend alot of money.
and yea the past 2 weeks spent a hell lot of money on idk what, just blogshopping snapping items and buying more nail polishes.
and so the weird thing was i didnt have new clothes for CNY but after CNY i bought alot of new clothes -.- wrong timing.

I've just been rushing out work for the past week while juggling kraftfunk pracs at night and i've never felt so exhausted before. the worst was after the first bryan prac my whole leg was pain like hell and i had to deal with the stupid MS assignment. and excel kept going haywire i swear i nearly exploded

okay so my most exciting 7 days of 2011 begins tomorrow with stats paper, and ends on sunday with the last recital show. omg. scary.

feels like As all over again. oh well if i survived the agony of 1 month of papers last year these 5 days are nothing.

no confidence for tmr's paper but ive had enough of studying. ugh the weather aint helping either. sigh.

HATE MACBOOK

okay I could probably list out a hundred reasons why macbook sucks. Including how it corrupted my thumbdrive today and now I can't open my biz law notes. yes those notes that I've spent dk how many thousands of hours on. There is no word to quantify my anger/exasperation/desperation. I don't care about the other files, I just want my blaw notes.

What a bad day. And its only Monday. and there's bidding. omg save me please.

Just took my two jabs for ocsp and now my left arm is sore like shit. Don't even know how I'm gonna waack tomorrow. LTB class at 830am on a saturday morning gosh. dance consecutively from 3pm-10pm tmr, can die.

Anyway finally done with LTB report and slides. Gosh the bane of my sem 1, seriously. Declares it my most inefficient group project ever. Now there's only AW paper left roarrr. Hates.

And my timetable for next sem is gonna be sucky :"( sobs. such is life. Still finding people to bid with me for my mods!

Oh well at least I'm gonna meetup with HPYS this sunday. Finally going out with people instead of stoning at home omg. I miss my friends :'(

another week

An exceptionally tiring week. and I still have presentation tomorrow. ARGHHH.

Had fundraising for ocsp.. oh my I really dislike these kinda things cause I feel really paiseh to ask people (esp random people who will just give you the "NO I DO NOT WANT TO SUPPORT YOUR OCSP" look.) Really appreciate those friends who supported! Like suay wingyau hahaha the first thing i saw her after not seeing her since school started was to ask her to buy our biscuits/bookmark. Anyway sitting under the concourse aircon for 5 hours on wednesday was no joke, immediately felt super ill roar.

Still gotta finish up LTB report before heading to sch for subcomm meeting later. sigh all those icebreaking all over again!

I need to go out and playyy.

Needs a new bagpack before I fly to thailand. Should I be a spendthrift and splurge on a manhattan portage??

Start of a crazy week.

Will feel much more relaxed after submitting the 2 assignments and done with biz law presentation today. Hates how I get all jittery before a presentation.

Sad to say, recess week is almost over, and I haven't completed any major assignments/projects sigh.

Recently my luck just keeps going downhill for some unknown reason. I ALWAYS just miss 190 and end up having to wait 20 mins for the next one. seriously what is wrong with smart - 190 coming at 20 mins intervals ?? Then I will meet with a jam, etc. so on average each journey to sch or back from sch take about 75 mins. bleh absolutely waste of time.

Past few days were horrible days, there is so much work to do and I realized how pathetically little friends I have in SMU. the only good things that happened were going to salted caramel and zaihar's open class yesterday. woo! loved the choreo~

I know Steve Jobs just passed away. I'm not a fan of apple products, and I absolutely DISLIKE mac I have no idea why my safari runs soooo slowly i'm switching to chrome soon but he was an extraordinary guy. roar. My safari is seriously loading at a snail's pace and it's annoying me greatly.

Finally done with assignment 2A!!!
my mind feels so much lighter now. haha! although i still have to do formatting + check for weird expressions + think of a title and running head tomorrow before the deadline, at least the bulk of it is done!!

Time for stats T.T

and my mum is so funny she keeps complaining about how she have to wash my clothes separately cos they're all of different colours. Okay so from next week onwards im gonna like wear the same colour tones for an entire week LOL

end of another week

aw is seriously irritating me ALOT.

i'm cranky all day cos i can't seem to do the stupid assignment. hate researching for stuff with so many limitations.

anyway had a nice lunch with pinghui today at glassroom. its like the first time im eating lunch with someone this week LOL antisocial much but it is really difficult to find people to lunch with. and we're going back to hc next thurs again after all the annoying midterms and aw assignments are over. hopefully the security guard will be kind and maybe i should wear a hc tee. can't wait! (:

the weather these days are wonderfully sunless (cold wind ftw!) but not good for health i feel like im gonna fall sick anytime.

I like that the days are flying by december please come soon! chiangmai, bangkok, berboo, sleepovers, fun, fun, fun.

End of another week, but no tgif cause i don't have weekends to chill off.

Today's a non-school day but i still had to go back since morning for ltb meeting for quite a few hours. Hate how project meetings in SMU are so unproductive, mainly cos its an unfamiliar topic and the rubrics/guidelines are so vague or non-existent we don't even know what is expected of us. Seriously.

Well at least eye meetings were beneficial, went for forex followed by ARM and I learnt so many new things! This should be how school is like, learning something useful and interesting. roar. Wanna start trading soon but no time no discipline :(

My weekends are non-existent la. tuitions and cca and dance. where got time to study :/

and Hell starts from next week. schoolwork, beloved friends leaving... sigh.

can't wait for thursday to come it signals the end of a horrible week and back to hwachong for zhajiangmian!!

Time to take a short breather before the hectic period starts.

So I've checked my timetables, from next week week 5 till around week 11, Im gonna have essays/tests/presentations/stuff due at least 2 things for separate mods due EACH week. crazy. seems like my mid term break's just gna be spent on chionging reports for ltb and aw...
And then around 1 week to rest before finals.. the weeks seem to fly man!!

Anyway I seem to be killing myself by upping the frequency of tuitions for my students who are having their EOYS soon. so I'll have to deal with my own studies and THEIR studies. No good. But I need the money and I believe I can do this YEAH. around 4 more weeks for them as well.

(And I'll be done with everything before the juniors are done with their A levels! wow crazy jam-packed hiongness of university)

Basically from tomorrow... no more free time!! haha. out whole day tomorrow, friday as well, saturday is the killer with 4 events to go to in one single day. Tuition; Emix orientation; Waacking pac; MAF. and i'm already either going late/leaving early for every single one of them haha! 24 hours not enough ahh. Really looking forward to MAF I miss hc and all the people!!

Really HATE squeezing with others in the mrt in the mornings. Annoying. plus my laptop is so heavy. UGH.

So tomorrow is another wonderful start to a new school week. I realized that I always spend my sundays trying to figure out biz law -.- I still have no idea what the main point of privity is about. 

And school just got a lot suckier cos our prof just emailed us with two presentations that we are supposed to complete for this mod. UGH. dislikes.

Trying to compile notes for biz law but failing terribly. I've been bloghopping (NOT blogshopping heh) and looking at pretty stuff as usual.

Been feeling a pinch on my wallet ever since I entered SMU. Food is expensive much and bleh to transport. I've been wanting to give up my tuitions but can't cos I still need to save money for ocsp and diving trips T.T Oh well.
