London Trip - July 2013

Well well I haven't been here in a while! I'm currently in Seoul - had been busy settling down in this foreign country and settling all the administrative issues that burdens any exchange :(

Just a quickie update to try to clear my backlog of photos... so here's some shots from my London visit in July. It was my first time in London! I wasn't there purely for travel, as my family went over to attend my brother's graduation ceremony from King's College... 3 years sure flew by!

London (in fact, most parts of europe) is such a beautiful city! I love the architecture, all that intricate details. There are just too many photos that I want to share!! Gotta find an alternative method for uploading all those photos. any ideas?

Anyway, here are some that I managed to capture on the trip!

If you follow me on instagram you would know that I am a very -beach/water/sea- kind of person. I wonder why. Maybe its to balance out my inner aries' fiery soul heh. Above are some instag shots of my previous phuket/krabi trips. I always post some photos whenever I miss the places.

You know how some like to go on beach getaways to suntan/play beach volleyball etc? Well, not that i dislike those activities, but I rather spend some serene time on a quiet island IN THE SHADE HAH or snorkeling in the waters. Super love it when the boat is in the middle of the ocean, and no land in sight. That's true escape from reality.

Eastern Europe Travelogue Day 11: Berlin, Germany

After a wonderful day at Dresden, we continued on to Berlin! ;)

Not many photos cause I got lazy towards the end of the trip....

Always wanted to visit Berlin because its such a historically iconic city!

and the architecture in Berlin is more modern, completely different from the last 32420398 towns we went to..

MEGA CUTE CAR

The Brandenburg Gate if i'm not wrong. which was closed due to renovations :( we ended up getting starbucks haha

Went into a shopping mall to taste the best coffee? (As recommended by the tour guide) But dad said it was soso

Towards the evening it started pouring... really heavily!! couldn't take really good photos of this magnificent structure, the victory column :/

Then we went to .. some restaurant out of the city area for dinner! which was my favourite....

PORK KNUCKLE!!!! It was soooooo humongous and sooooo good yumzzzz 

And then the next day we had some shopping time in berlin!

Well after some shopping at Berlin we headed to Leipzig, which was just a really small town for our transit stopover to frankfurt. Spent a good 1.5 days travelling back to frankfurt to get to the airport :( and I was too lazy to take photos hee.

Absolutely loved Eastern Europe and hope to explore the countries in greater depth in future :) backpacking trip maybe?
