Eastern Europe Travelogue Day 8 - Auschwitz Concentration Camp

After Prague, we headed off on a full day journey to Poland! But on the way, we stopped by Auschwitz, where the Nazis built their largest concentration camps for the Jews during World War II.
Let's just say it was pretty depressing :( furthermore, our tour guide played the movie Schindler's List during the journey, so we kinda had the idea of what went on during the war.

The camp has been turned into something like a museum for people to learn about its history.

The gate where victims were brought in

I think everyone should visit this camp once in their lifetime. To learn about how ugly humans can be towards their own species :( and to listen to the story of all the innocent victims of the holocaust. The exhibitions were so haunting and real.
